The International Black Women’s Film Festival welcomes volunteers to assist before, during and after the film festival.

We always need help in (but not limited to) the following areas:

  • Ticket collecting
  • Door usher
  • T-shirt sales
  • Decorating
  • Food setup
  • Audio-visual
  • …etc.

During the operation of the festival, duties are fast-paced and require critical thinking skills and the ability to make intelligent decisions in regards to your volunteer duties. Volunteers who are engaging, polite, articulate, and helpful, are always welcome.

Volunteering may require light to medium lifting of 10 to 25 pounds. Emergency contact information is required for volunteering.

Benefits of Volunteering

Free admission to all IBWFF events, per two consecutive hours of volunteer work.
