Whoopi Goldberg came to the defense of her late co-star Patrick Swayze against “Three’s Company” comedian Suzanne Somers on daytime talk show “The View.”

[polldaddy poll=2031787] Not one to mince words, Ms. Goldberg was rightfully angry at the comments Ms. Somers made about the actor, who recently succumed to pancreatic cancer.

Suzanne quickly back-pedaled and gave her side of the story on her blog. A survivor of cancer herself, Ms. Somers used alternative therapies for her own cancer, which she implied would have worked for Patrick’s aggressive form of cancer. Whoopi was not having it.

Suzanne obviously knows the impact and power of the daily talk show, and wants to stay in good graces with all of these media mavens.
