We’re Back!

Yes, the International Black Women’s Film Festival site is up…again! Sorry for the delays, but I’d been using a horrible hosting company that used to be pretty good; however, they’ve been sold…twice… to new owners, and the service has been not just terrible, but –as my folks would say– turr-able!

Needless to say I’ve switched over to a “dream” of a hosting company, and they rock so much better than the previous company.

Now that the site is back up, what’s new, and what’s on board…?

• The IBWFF will begin accepting submissions on November 1, 2008 for the July 2009 festival! (Don’t start sending in your stuff until November 1st, or it goes into the circular file…really.)
• If you were a previous subscriber, I truly apologize, but you must re-subscribe!
• Good news for subscribers! You will notice interactive video uploading and editing for subscribers-only! Test your media making skills, and collaborate with other rockin’ filmmakers!
• VIVID.ID content is now available online…not just as a downloaded magazine! Sweet!!
• You can hook up with the festival through Facebook and MySpace! Awww yeah!!
